Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide, NBSiC Ceramics

Silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide products are a structural ceramic material, made of high-purity SiC and Si powder as raw materials, slurry injection molding green body, and sintered by nitriding reaction. Silicon nitride combined with silicon carbide slabs has been increasingly accepted by customers in recent years, because compared with traditional silicon carbide slabs and cordierite mullite slabs, they are lighter, stronger, non-deformed, more energy-efficient, save kiln space, have a lifespan many times longer, and have better stability.

Advantages of Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide products

-NSIC has higher flexural strength and excellent oxidation resistance than RSIC products. The maximum operating temperature is 1550°C. In addition to its structural characteristics, NSIC products also have good wear resistance and corrosion resistance to molten metal, so NSIC products can directly contact aluminum, zinc, copper, and magnesium molten metals. NSIC protective tubes have been successfully used for temperature measurement.
-NSIC has characteristics that other refractory materials do not have, such as high-temperature flexural resistance, excellent high load weight, and wear resistance.
Applications
Silicon nitride combined with silicon carbide products include thin-walled slabs, round tubes, burners, and various complex special-shaped products, as well as beams with various cross sections.
