Pyrolytic Boron Nitride Crucible, PBN Ceramic Crucibles

Pyrolytic Boron Nitride crucibles are ceramics with a purity of 99.999% produced by the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) molding method without the need for traditional hot pressing and sintering processes. The CVD process gives this pyrolytic boron nitride a nearly perfect layered structure, resulting in anisotropic thermal conductivity, making it an ideal material for making crystal growth crucibles. PBN is the main material for making crucibles for GaAs and InP crystal production.
PBN crucibles are produced by the CVD process, and all boron nitride crystals grow parallel to the surface of vapor deposition. The density of the product can almost reach the theoretical value. Due to the characteristics of the CVD process, the most common wall thickness of PBN crucibles is 0.8~1.5mm. We provide customized PBN crucibles including crucibles for VGF, LEC, MBE, OLED, etc.

Packing
