Aluminium oxynitride ceramic
Aluminium oxynitride ceramic
Aluminum oxynitride (γ-AlON, AION) is a transparent polycrystalline ceramic, a new polycrystalline infrared material with high optical transmittance from visible light to mid-infrared. Its biggest advantage is optical isotropy and good transmittance in the mid-infrared band (the transmittance is more than 80% in the wavelength range of 0.2 to 6.0 μm). At the same time, aluminum oxynitride ceramics have good physical, mechanical, and chemical properties.
