Zirconia Ceramic Sheet
Zirconia is a fine ceramic material with high mechanical strength and fracture toughness. It has better mechanical properties than alumina ceramics, including higher strength and fracture toughness. These properties make zirconia an ideal choice for many industrial applications, especially when materials must withstand extreme forces and wear. Due to its excellent toughness, the thinnest zirconia ceramic sheet can reach 0.05mm.

Typical characteristic of Zirconia Ceramic sheet

Zirconia Sheet
– High strength and fracture toughness: Zirconia’s strength and toughness far exceed many traditional ceramic materials. This allows it to remain stable when subjected to impact and stress, reducing the possibility of cracking.
– Excellent thermal insulation and low thermal conductivity: Zirconia’s thermal conductivity is only one-tenth of alumina ceramics. This property makes it very useful in applications that require insulation or heat preservation
– Smooth surface, the surface finish after polishing can reach Ra0.025um
Application
-Industrial applications: Due to its high strength and wear resistance, capacitor oxide is often used to manufacture various high-performance industrial components, such as parts of milling machines, sliding parts, and blades of cutting tools. These applications usually require the material to withstand repeated mechanical damage without failure.
-Thermal management applications: Zirconia also has excellent thermal insulation properties. Its thermal conductivity is much lower than that of other ceramic materials. In some chemical process equipment and high-temperature furnaces, zirconium oxide can act as an insulating layer to help control temperature and protect sensitive mechanical parts from thermal damage.
– Precision equipment
Edgetech provides various Zirconia ceramic products, such as rods, tubes, plates, sheets, crucibles, etc.
Packing
Zirconia Ceramic sheets use appropriate outer boxes and internal buffer materials, and some components are also vacuum-packed.
