Boron Nitride Composite Ceramic BN-BO


Boron nitride material could be physically enhanced by adding some other ceramics, such as CaO (HBN), ZrO2(ZSBN), or AlN (AlN-BN), high purity boron nitride could withstand higher temperature in an inert atmosphere than the composite/enhanced ceramics. However, the enhanced BN usually has better wear resistivity and better performance in the air.

BN-BO uses a B2O3 binder to increase the mechanical strength of hot-pressed hBN. It has a higher density without the loss of ceramic powder. This makes it the best choice for high-temperature insulators in the electronics industry.

Due to the hygroscopic adhesive system, BN-BO must be used to avoid exposure to moisture.
