Silicon Carbide Crucible
Silicon carbide crucibles are made from silicon carbide powder through isostatic pressing and pressureless sintering. Crucibles can be round or square, with flat or curved bottoms. Flanges and drilling holes can also be customized to meet customer requirements.
Silicon Carbide SiC Crucible
Silicon carbide crucibles offer the following outstanding properties:
- Due to the material’s submicron fine-grain structure and manufacturing process, the product surface is smooth, with the rough product achieving a Ra of 1.6µm, effectively preventing corrosion from the melt.
- Highly pure and will not contaminate the material.
- High temperature resistance and excellent thermal stability, operating up to 1600°C (in air).
- Excellent thermal shock resistance. Due to their high thermal conductivity and good thermal shock resistance, they can withstand rapid process temperature changes.
- Offer excellent corrosion resistance even at high temperatures, making them particularly suitable for chemically aggressive environments.
