Silicon nitride nozzles and covers have the characteristics of oxidation resistance, high temperature strength and less sputter adhesion, which can prolong the service life of the welding parts.
In the five methods of silicon nitride production, GPSN is most commonly used to produce Si3N4 components. Here we introduce Gas pressure sintering (GPS):
Gas pressure sintering of silicon nitride is performed at a pressure of 1 to 10 MPa at a temperature of about 2000 ° C. The high nitrogen pressure suppresses the pyrolysis of silicon nitride. Due to the use of high-temperature sintering, it is sufficient to promote Si3N4 grain growth with the addition of less sintering aids, and obtain high-toughness ceramics with long columnar grains in situ growth density of> 99%. High toughness, high strength and good abrasion resistance can directly produce various complex shaped products close to the final shape, which can greatly reduce production costs and processing costs.

Packing of Silicon Nitride Nozzle and Covers
As a ceramic material, silicon nitride is quite fragile in a lot of cases. Our silicon nitride nozzle and covers are carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation. Suitable outer boxes and inner cushioning materials are used for Si3N4products, vacuum packing is also engaged for some of the parts.
