Silicon Nitride ceramics is a new type of advanced ceramic material made from high-purity synthetic silicon nitride powder under high temperatures and high pressure. Its weight is one-third of steel and its hardness is slightly lower than diamond. Compared with other materials, it has many excellent properties such as low density, high strength, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, long life, self-lubrication, high hardness, strong toughness, non-magnetic insulation, etc. Silicon nitride (Si3N4) has good chemical stability. In addition to being resistant to hydrofluoric acid and concentrated NaOH corrosion, it can resist corrosion from all inorganic acids and certain alkaline solutions, molten alkalis, and salts. Silicon nitride is very stable to many metals at normal casting temperatures and is not subject to infiltration or corrosion. Silicon nitride has good oxidation resistance and is currently the structural ceramic material with the best comprehensive performance. It is known as the “all-round ceramic” and the “crown jewel of advanced ceramic materials.” Silicon nitride nozzles have the characteristics of oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength, and less sputtering attachments, which can extend the service life of welded parts.

Packing
As a ceramic material, silicon nitride is quite fragile in a lot of cases. Our Silicon Nitride Nozzles are carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation. Suitable outer boxes and inner cushioning materials are used for Si3N4 products, vacuum packing is also engaged for some of the parts.
